It is at present early autumn here and the flowers have faded. The whole plant seems to be drying out. Is this just the seasonal reaction? We have had quite a lot of late summer pelting and night temperatures now driblet to effectually 11°Celsius with solar day temps around 22° Celsius. When I noticed the dry out looking plant a calendar week agone, I started giving it additional water every second twenty-four hour period, but it has non shown whatever signs of improvement. Should I cut it back and hope for a recovery, or go out information technology alone and cutting it towards late winter?

Loving this plant just the red blossom is turning brownish - is that over watering? Under watering or is the season over? It's July in San Diego.

Sasha on July 03, 2018:

This is untrue as my reddish and yellow indoor kangaroo manus requires watering EVERY second solar day. If I don't the flowers begin to driblet after the tertiary day and the leave get after that, evidence of not enough watering tin be seen nigh a calendar week afterward when the tips of leaves offset to brownish and die.

They are a very very h2o hungry plant and one that requires a lot of sunlight to go on its brilliant red and yellowish colors.

Please do not fool people into thinking this is an easy or beginners houseplant.
